Contribution rules

Contributions must come from eligible individuals using their own funds. Businesses, unions, organizations, reimbursed contributions and anonymous online contributions are not permitted.
The 2026 total includes monetary and in-kind gifts and loans. The financial agent checks contributions received through all channels before acceptance.
Elections BC publishes contributor names and amounts when the annual total is $100 or more and obscures residential addresses in published reports. Local campaign contributions do not qualify for tax receipts.

Contribution privacy

Doug Chapman's campaign collects your legal name, residential and any different mailing address, amount, earlier contribution total and declarations to administer contributions, match bank transfers, check eligibility and limits, and meet Elections BC recordkeeping and disclosure requirements. Optional contact details are used for contribution questions and corrections. Giving does not subscribe you to campaign updates.

Your form entries are sent securely to the campaign's restricted contribution register. The website uses OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare hosting and storage services, whose processing may occur outside B.C. The campaign's financial agent maintains the required financial records in B.C. for five years after voting day, ordinarily until October 17, 2031, and longer where legally required. Uncompleted or cancelled records are reviewed for removal when no longer needed for administration or legal obligations.

Access is restricted to campaign administrators. Records may be disclosed to Elections BC as required. No card or bank login details are collected. This page has no advertising trackers and does not store form entries in your browser after you leave; hosting providers process technical request data for delivery and security.
